Sea Trial

ØDS offers extensive experience in sea trial assistance collected since 1980. Our independent service will establish a firm base for evaluating the fulfilment of requirements set out. In case problems should occur our experience enables troubleshooting to be initiated.

A careful planning and development of measurement program that fulfils the requirements from the different parties involved will form the basis.

Measurements can be performed with handheld equipment for some projects. However, we can provide multi-channel equipment with a high number of channels allowing for simultaneous measurements of many parameters. At sea trials with a quite complex programme and very tight schedule this facility is essential.

Various items and parameters can be part of a sea trial measurement programme. In the service “measurement surveys” some of these items are listed. Typical items that will be measured are listed below:

• Noise 
• Vibration 
• Machinery performance
